Ohio Lawmaker Wants Two New Airport Hubs

Southwest Ohio Rep. Jim Butler wants to build airports at I-71 near Xenia and on I-80 just north of Ravenna. He says Ohio has the population to support hubs like Dallas/Ft. this guy is just a bit outside, to quote bob euker.. There is population there, but not flight demand enough to justify either one or both of these fairy tale halucinations. With the range capabilities of current airliners, with historical hubs- Cleveland, cincinati, pittsburg, - these relics vanished as airlines merged and mixed their fleets. No current airline needs a pitstop in ohio now or anytime soon. Dallas and Atlanta have over a thousand operations daily, so where exactly are these flights coming from and going from that land in onio?

Well Cincinnati and has been going away as a major hub so this is almost pointless here
