Thanksgiving travel surge to test airlines as industry struggles to recover from labor shortages, pandemic
The Transportation Security Administration expects to screen about 20 million people between Friday and Nov. 28, almost back to 2019 levels. Many of those travelers skipped Thanksgiving trips last year as Covid cases were rising and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention advised against travel during the holiday. ..I wish them the best..working for an airline ha always been a much harder job than people think,especailly around holidays with masses of people trying to get into the airport,check bags,go through security and check at the gate for the departures..with the current labor shortages and the fact people are MUCH more harried,rude,discourteous,me first and the whole nine yards due to masking and covid,this will prove to be a holiday season for the history books!
