When will someone reverse the procedure for building a plane for the major airlines? Instead of United, American (Ex) having seats measured and built for capacity at the expense of passenger comfort and ease of getting out in an emergency in whatever sized plane, design and measure a cabin for comfort and safety and tell the manufacturer to build you a plane around those measurements.
