Air Europa orders 14 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners

Boeing said Thursday that it has won a $3.6 billion order for 14 of its 787-9 Dreamliners from Spain’s Air Europa. The airline, which is making a transition to a long-haul fleet consisting only of Boeing craft, has a combined 22 787-8s and 787-9s on order. Air Europa, which is owned by Globalia, will start to receive Dreamliners in 2016, which will help the airline increase its number of flights and destinations by about 50%. (www.wsj.com) Altro...
