I know they talked so much about rebranding and all... but I would imagine it will look like any other AA plane. Silver, with a touch of good ol Red, White and Blue.

Looks like you may be right. I googled some of the images that are floating around. One in particular looks like a livery that suits the potential merger very well, not to mention the static aircraft on the example is an A330...lol
I also stumbled upon an article that mentions the fact that the new aircraft will have composite fuselages, rendering the current livery obsolete seeing how that polished aluminum is exactly that, aluminum. I did not consider this.

The early A300 B4s that American operated (Also Eastern) were painted grey, as the early 'busses couldnt be polished bare (anti corrosion coating that was applied during construction, iirc)
