That is a 747-400, possibly B-HUA. It was scrapped in 2014.

Are the outboard engines aimed so the contrails don't join?
contrails - outboards probably get picked up more in the expanding wing tip vortices the winglets are trying to prevent.
would be interesting to compare this fantastic shot with a similar contrail-generating but winglet-less 747..
sun is from the right - is the shadow on the right pair from the #4 contrail over the #3, or the shaded side of #4...???
