What is the occasion.
Th shuttle was likely inroute to Air Muesemm on the Interpid. I think the interpid recieved one.

Great pic of the old Convair F2Y Sea Dart. Looks great in the white camouflage.
What a shame. What does the Intrepid have to do with the Space Shuttle? Someone was in someone's back pocket. So now on the East Coast, there are two Shuttles and on the Intrepid you have to pay extra to see it.
A better place to have delivered it to would have bee the US Air Force Museum in Ohio. At least there is no charge to see any of the planes in the museum's 4 very large hangers.
