Lockheed F-16 Fighting Falcon —

LOOK CAREULLY..! This is a rare capture! I was following the four Thunderbirds through my camera viewfinder, when I heard a screaming roar from my right. It wasn't until I lowered my camera that I realized one of the solos had just done one of their sneaky high speed opposing passes. I hoped for just getting the solo somewhere in the frame. Opening the image on my computer, I was in awe. Not only did I get THE shot but the solo appeared to be so close to the primary's it was almost unnerving to look at. I shot this at the 2022 Sun N Fun airshow in Lakeland Florida. I was shooting with my Canon 100-400mm IS II lens at the focal length of 148mm. Camera settings were 1/8000 shutter, F5.6 ISO 1000.
