With a magpie giving chase REX Flt 4514 departs off Rw 05 at 0728 bound for Whyalla.

When REX got this aircraft, rather than wholly repainting it, they hybridized the former US Airways Express livery with their own and to me, made it somewhat more pleasing than the standard REX livery.
And also replaced the sheet metal skin between the R and E hence the white patch when the aircraft underwent maintenance in Adelaide prior to entering service for Rex. The problem was the US airways white was different so they did not cover the old stripes unlike the Silver Airways aircraft.

The aircraft was repainted the Heart is in the country scheme in April 2022.
