Flypast of a Sikorski S-70 Black Hawk, equipped with long range external fuel tanks.
Comments
Lockheed? I believe that part should read "Sikorsky"!
Your spot on cliff731. Must improve my proof reading skills! Thanks for the heads up.
Frank Gollner, likely if you only entered "107" for registration, FA's software automatically added the "N" prefix. I cannot say if "N107" corresponds with a U.S. registered A320, but it might be so. Also, I've attempted to correct the aircraft type for one of my photo submissions in the past and received the same "invalid aircraft type" message as you have. Evidently FA does not permit us to do that.
Have finally corrected my mistake.
Frank, the S-70 "Black Hawk" is one helicopter I've never been fortunate enough to fly on, although I've flown on its corporate cousin, the S-76. U.S. Army and National Guard S-70 Black Hawks often fly overhead my house. Those are with an overall OD paint scheme and never look to be as visually attractive as the one in your photo.
