Boeing 757-200 (N401UP)
The darkness was gone but the sun had not yet come up when UPS's N401UP completed a brief 30 minute KMHR-KRNO hop in an unusual manner. A hydraulic leak during the flight brought out the emergency equipment and excessively hot brakes during the 6:55 AM landing resulted in the B752 being stopped and shut down on taxiway Juliet. After being checked by the RTAA FD, N401UP remained on Juliet for a half hour to allow the brakes to cool. It was then towed to the Cargo ramp; finally completing its trip at 7:31 AM.

N401UP was back in service the same evening when it departed RNO for a short flight to Ontario (CA) International (KONT) a few minutes after 8 PM.
Engine 5 and 5 stars - in the 40+ years I've filmed a/c all over the west coast, I've rarely seen ARFF rigs out on the taxiways...maybe 6 times....and that is a good thing.
