Airbus A319 (N742PS)

Over the past week, American Airlines has been sending a neat variety of special paintbirds to RNO and with the snow falling all the way to the valley floor, the all-white background makes the colors really stand out. Not only was this PSA special paint here, but the Reno Air heritage livery made its first visit and the Piedmont livery is here now (I'm leaving in a few minutes to snap it). This is a great week to be spotting at RNO.

Excellent catch here and with your Alaska/ Horizon propbird, 5 stars for both. Nice to have the snow in the background too. I forgot to mention in my other comment about how cold it is down here in Socal.. a chilly 55 degrees lol.

Howdy, Greg. :-) Thanx for the comment. I caught the Piedmont schemebird this morning in a beautiful click as it climbed out past the snow-covered Sierra Nevada and the other night I captured the new Reno Air colorbird when it came here at night in a snow squall. It was the first time N916NN has been back here in Reno since it got its new Reno Air clothing. I had to drive from my house 35 miles away thru the snowstorm on I-80 to get to the airport, but it was definitely worth the effort. lol

Dwight ... The TWA heritage livery is headed to RDU. It will stay overnight and depart tomorrow morning (around 7:30 AM).
