Cessna Skylane (F-GVLS)

Peter... from the shape of this Skylane's cowling, it appears to have a SMA SR305-230 engine conversion installed.

Might this Skylane be a Reims built aircraft too?

Hello Cliff731. I have got my information from 'airframes.org' but it seems no Reims Cessna. I myself have no idea about it.

Peter... your information is correct... it is not a Reims built Cessna. This is a Wichita, Kansas built Cessna Skylane 182R and was formerly FAA registered as N9606H, with Cessna's c/n of 18267970, and built in 1981.

My search of the FAA registry site and Airport-data.com's site shows this information:

The FAA registration was cancelled on 30 November 2005 and this Skylane was exported to the U.K. and re-registered as G-CDSL.

That U.K. civil registration was cancelled on 21 August 2008 and it was subsequently registered in France with F-GVLS.

On 09 October 2015 this Cessna has another registration change. It was registered as OO-CAB in Belgium.

Peter, if your photo is newer than the October 2015 date, then the most recent registration change given must be in error.

The picture was made at 150326. So it was a very old one, somewere forgotten in a corner of my collection. The OO-CAB was not imported at 'airframes.org' already. Thanks for the info Cliff.
