— — - Boarding 737 early am for Freedom Honor Flight June 2010. F-18s in background awaiting performance in Deke Slayton Airfest later that afternoon. Escorted my father in law (Army, European Theater 1944) and a Marine who was a tail gunner in dive bombers in the Pacific theater including Peleliu. What an honor. We returned to a heroes welcome during the post airshow concert by REO Speedwagon near the Colgan Air FBO. What a day. Fun photo to take - not too often you get to frame three fighters around a 737.
