AZY206 — - "Transit tiedown" from the center island of the USS Nimitz. "Jolly Rogers" Tomcat VF-84. AJ-206 was in the movie "The Final Countdown" released in 1980 in many of the aerial scenes. RA-5C Vigilante “Vigie” of RVAH-6 in the foreground. Partial squadron of S-3A Vikings from VS-24 in the back. Top of the APS-125 Radome of an E-2B Hawkeye. A-6 Intruder and H-3 Helo in the background. Alpha Juliet was Carrier (CVW) Air Wing 8's call on ""Uncle Chesters" ship. CVW-8 was based out of NAS Oceana in Norfolk, Va and the USS Nimitz was based at NOB (Naval Operations Base) Norfolk, Va. at the time.
