MARTIN 404 (N450A)
Shown here is a 1952 Eastern Airlines Martin 404 "Silver Falcon". Crusing speed around 300 mph and a range of almost 1100 miles. Seating can hold up to 40 passengers. The Aircraft is currently in restoration at MAAM facility at the KRDG Airport in the Autumn of 2018.

The correct and current FAA civil registration for this Martin 4-0-4 is N450A...

It also served with the then regional airline Southern Airways as N149S from 1962 until approximately 1976 after initial service with Eastern Airlines. Southern acquired 22 former Eastern Martin 4-0-4 airliners starting in 1961 and operated these on their "Route of the Aristocrats" until 1978.

I found two separate sources online that agree with the change from M450A to N450A.
Thanks for the correction. Keep on top of things cliff. This and other aircraft on the tarmac are taking a good weathering as restoration is a slow process.

Warmwynds... you are welcome and thanks for the good words. This one was easy... all civil a/c registrations in the U.S.A. start with a N prefix, of course! I grew up watching Martin 4-0-4 airliners pass overhead!
