Boeing MD-11 (N17XX) - KSJC - early to mid 1990s American MD-11 departing late off Runway 12R for Tokyo-Narita..view from the parking structure. With Boeing 777s on the horizon, we had little time left with the MD-11s soon to be taken over by the 777-200s on this route.

KSJC - early to mid 1990s American MD-11 departing late off Runway 12R for Tokyo-Narita..view from the parking structure. With Boeing 777s on the horizon, we had little time left with the MD-11s soon to be taken over by the 777-200s on this route.

Thanks Gavin__ The AA 777-200 Inaugural was quite the show 5-1-1999. I was able to get a Tour via an AA employee who came to work at the Company I've been employed at - and he had the connections! At one point, I was the only person in the 777 on the ramp as my co worker was chatting outside w.his contact - as the 777 was repositioned the night before from DFw - it was at the gate and a brand new 777 for AA, N775AN was the 1st 777 for American Airlines, at San Jose and to Tokyo-Narita. I'll be posting those in a bit.
