Fairchild Dornier SA-227DC Metro (N343AE) - San Jose,CA KSJC - 1st day Ops at the then new American Eagle gates at Terminal A at SJC. Note N689NE parked on the ramp - I have the other photo when it arrived, I was standing out on the fence railing right next to the plane on the 180, back when one could freely walk a terminal. There were no restrictions.
