Thank you Gman, mucho appreciado,I think this was the only time I saw this jet also - I shot several on push back but when the Continental 727 showed up - I had to snap that in place.
Love the old Continental Livery.
Thanks Roy, the best part was Continental docked in front of me to the right of this photo - I'm sure I have photo of the 727 blocking in,,,or video.
That's too bad, I think that experimental paint scheme looks cool!
Looks like an early version of that horrid American Airlines scheme.
Tom- I came across your folder a little over a week ago now and I must say I'm really enjoying all of your oldie photos as well as your newer shots. Excellent camera work Tom and keep em coming ;)
Thanks for all of the comments to all.
2 Hot Rod Jets!! Used to fly aboard PSA 146's out of KFAT....climbed like homesick angel! Even on a 100 degF day! Thanks for the memories Tom!!
Brilliant shot. I shot this scheme at LAX in 1988. Lots of other experimental schemes , anyone know how many there were???
