One of a kind NASA test aircraft QSRA-8A started out as a DHC-5, wings built by Boeing. Will never fly again will soon be dismantled.
Why dont they 'museum' it?
Plane has been sold 3 museum's contacted no takers so it will be dismantled for parts.
Even the DHC 5 is no longer built so there are some valuable parts to be salvaged but is a shame.
