If you do enough panning, you get lucky occasionally. ;)
I'd normally pan these aircraft at 1/60th, but this one is 1/30th from memory. Might be 1/20th. I'll check the EXIF when I get a chance.
No luck here. Very skilled eye behind that lens and steady as she goes hands on that tripod!

Keep at it marylou. The more you practice, the luckier you get. I use a monopd rather than a tripod. The viewing platform won't accommodate a tripod, and it I was on the ground, I wouldn't be able shoot over the fence.
