The flight details screen is one of the most interesting screens in the app because it provides access to so much information. On flight detail screens there are a few ways to navigate, some of which you might have already discovered:

The primary navigation icons on the top toolbar include the "compass rose" icon (to show the main flight details page), the "line graph" icon (to show the track log/graph for the flight), and the "map" icon (to show a world map of the flight's path).
Tapping on the Origin airport square will open that airport.
Tapping on the Destination airport square will open that airport also.
Tapping on the flight progress bar near the top of the screen will search for other flights that are flying between that same origin and destination.
Long-hold on the flight progress bar to search for other flights between the same origin and destination that you entered in the "Search by Flight Route" screen, if this flight was part of a one-stop/multi-stop flight result.
Tapping the "X" button will close that flight screen and return a previous screen.
On iPhones, click on the up/down chevron icon in the center of the top toolbar to access more actions associated with the flight. (On iPads, all of the action icons are always visible.)
Tap the "bell" icon to create a flight alert about that flight, reminding you or your friends when the flight is departing, arriving, is delayed, is canceled, etc.
Tap the "star" icon to add the flight to the "My Aircraft" section of "My Flightaware". This is a convenient way to later check the status of flights or aircraft that you regularly track, but does not trigger any alerts.
