Here is the history of this McDonnell Douglas C-9B Skytrain II, U.S. Navy BuNo. 160050, as related by Joe Baugher in his published information...

"160046/160052 McDonnell Douglas C-9B Skytrain II".

"DC-9-32-CF acquired by US Navy for airlift. Transfers to AMARC from www.amarcexperience.com".

"160050 MSN 47699. 4/11/75: First flight. 12/19/75: TOS USN. 12/75 to after 7/77: Fleet Logistics Support Squadron 55 (VR-55), NAS Alameda, CA. By 6/80: Fleet Logistics Support Squadron 58 (VR-58), NAS Jacksonville, FL. Named "City of Orange Park" with VR-58 in Jul 1988. 12/90 to 4/91: Deployed to Sembach Air Base, Germany for flying support missions during Operation Desert Storm. By 1999: TO after 7/11: Fleet Logistics Support Squadron 52 (VR-52), NAS Willow Grove, PA. By 8/12: Fleet Logistics Support Squadron (VR-61), NAS Whidbey Island,WA. To AMARC as 384940 Jun 30, 2014."
