18 Billion Pounds of Fuel Saved: Boeing Releases New 787 Dreamliner Data
Boeing's Dreamliner 787 wide body jet, once a troubled airplane, is now a star among airlines, the jet maker says. (www.bizjournals.com) Altro...Sort type: [Top] [Newest]
To be honest here it still is a troubled sirloin d. Yes the airframe has gone on to be a awesome aircraft and the engines are the issues but they still have to ground the plane to fix the issues. I believe this aircraft will go on for years like the Dc-3 after the engines are repairs and a perment fix is in place.
Airplane not sirloin. Stupid iPhone autocorrect. Lol
Aren't you glad you are not in the left seat in the middle of the approach when that new tech flummoxes you. Happy sirloin. Med. rare!
With mushrooms and cheese lol. And yes I’m glad I’m not in the left or right seat on approach when that happens but I’m sure it happens to us all at least once lol.
The problem is not Boeing's, it's RollsRoyce's. The Brits will be paying for this for a long time. I'd pull every RR spinner and replace with GE. Can't have $300 million airplanes sitting around waiting for RR to get new engines out.
May have saved the fuel, but the cost of same spiraled.
