Wow nice you have NO IDEA of where or what is around that airport. Its not scrub lands its irrigated land raising crops. Another rail two in a row just copping things does not always work. Its an underused ex military airport from WW2 and beyond that is now a test flight airport from which Boeing has done much flight testing over the years. That includes for one YB52 AC which I saw at the age of six flying over our house. Just a little history.
