DOT approves Norwegian Swedish subsidiary

The US Department of Transportation has approved Norwegian Air Sweden (NSE) to operate flights to and from the US. The carrier said Feb. 14 that the move was an initial step toward starting long-haul flights with Norwegian’s Swedish subsidiary to the US; it also has plans for Far East services originating in Sweden.
