While having more seats than the CRJ 700 come winter time it will have less useful load, making all those extra seats pointless.

The United/Skywest E175s operating into Aspen will be configured with 70 seats just like the crj700 they will have 12 first class seats as opposed to the 6 in the crjs though.

Why would they have less useful load in the winter when the air is typically more dense than during summer because of lower temperatures?
