OTTAWA, Feb. 22, 2019 /CNW/ – The Honourable Marc Garneau, Minister of Transport, issued today this statement regarding National Aviation Day: “On February 23, 1909, Pilot J.A.D. McCurdy flew the Silver Dart from Baddeck, Nova Scotia, launching Canada as a worldwide leader in aviation. This moment is something we celebrate each year on National Aviation Day." For what? Back then everybody just knew people couldn't fly. Would some government bureau issue a 'license' for something that couldn't be done?
