What a sad waste of a career.

Hard to say, but the way both foreign and domestic air carriers are screaming for pilots, he may still have a chance if he can truly straighten his life out.

It's really too bad he decided to continue. Had he admitted on his own, they would have helped him and he would probably be able to carry on with his career, after completing a program. Disheartening. My thoughts are with him.

Why send this guy to prison for 1 year and a day. He's air-conditioned and he gets three squares. Thats nuts, He violated the public trust. He should have been sentenced to a year of work on the ramp while attending monitored AA meetings. Thats a fair punishment that fits the crime. One day in prison only causes a tickle of humiliation. This jerk put all those passengers and co-workers at severe risk. Parked aircraft are potential fire bombs and the innocent lives in surrounding aircraft at risk as well. If you ever order a martoonee you have had enough, go park your keys in a taxi then go home to your happy wife.

Well they never flew anywhere and the other pilot saw what was going on. Calm down. The system worked.

When sentenced to one year or less they spend it in county jail, one year and one day they actually spend it in prison.

I was just thinking: As if a year in jail is not enough, an extra day added to it...OMG! That's in-humane!

I love the line about being a ramper. Having him dump and fill the blue juice.....well that about ought to do it.

Do you want fries with that?
