When external "experts" weigh in on corporate timing that must be a sign that Boeing itself has little credibility in financial circles. Based on Boeing's current state, its board and shareholders will certainly find a way to muck this up as well. All IMHO

That’s an understatement. Boeing needs a mover and shaker like Elon Musk. Like him or hate him he knows how to get things moving - Quickly. Without a Tiger at the helm all Boeing will do is hand the commercial plane industry to Airbus and Comac. Much like the American big 3 handed the auto industry to the Japanese, Germans and now the S. Koreans.
