Damit.. were not going to pay subsciptions to read the news.. where does it stop.sion to loose viewers here..
We always have paid to read the news. When is the last time you bought a newspaper or a magazine? How much do you pay for television cable service? How much does your internet cost? When was the last time you purchased something because you saw an advertisement for it? News media relied on advertising revenues to help pay the bills but this is going away....subscriptions are just another way to support the high cost of gathering and reporting the news. The bonus for we, the public... we now have a choice as to whom we wish to support. The times they are a changin'!
Maybe, before the times of internet, he used to read second hand newspapers and never bought them? Who knows.
respectfully adxbear..almost all news outlets that are in print and online, allow 3 or 4 free articles to be read online without a subscription, then its a pay by the month thing..unfortunately,articles are posted on here by people not aware of the policies, such as with this article from bloomberg...reporters,editors,writers and the like need money for their work just as does everyone else, and nothing is free anymore..
I was able to access it.
