Local aviation pioneer Joe Clark is the man most responsible for those elegant upswept wingtips now standard on new Boeing 737s. I only spoke with Mr. Clark on conference calls during the Continental Airlines 757 Winglet Modification at TIMCO-GSO. Great guy.

A very good friend of mine worked for the Aviation Partners for many years. He really enjoyed his time there so Mr Clark must have been quite a fellow.
