A Jetblue Embraer ERJ-190, registration N265JB performing flight B6-2533 from Burlington,VT to New York JFK,NY (USA), was enroute at FL280 about 50nm north of Stewart,NY (USA) when the crew donned their oxygen masks due to smoke in the cockpit originating from the windshield and diverted the aircraft to Stewart where the aircraft landed safely on runway 27 about 15 minutes later.
