Learjet 24 (N508SR) - Whoever owns this 1977 Lear 24 that I watched scream out of Addison, TX this morning, I salute you! Was wonderful to hear what airplanes are supposed to sound like again! Those little honeycomb hushkits can only suppress so much GE CJ610 fury..

The owners of U.S. registered aircraft are a matter of public record. Go to: www.faa.gov. On the right side of the home page you will see "N-Number Look-up." Enter the registration number [without the leading N] and voila.

It's my understanding that my Father was typed in and flew the second LJ24 to come off the line. I believe in the 80's a hangar door malfunctioned and cut the thing in half down in Memphis. My first flight was in the LJ24 when I was 6 mos old back in '69.
