Aerospatiale Concorde (G-BOAA)
Concorde and I were always close. At College in Bristol. at school in Lyme Regis, and in 68, used to see the Vulcan flying low over the Devon countryside, with the huge Olympus engines, smoking away! As schoolboys, we were in total awe! Then when I worked in Bristol, as an adult, in the summer, we would see the evening flight heading over the pond. A little silver dart way up in the sky, with it's non fan jet distinctive distant roar. It choked us up every time we looke up. Simply breathtaking.
