Comments
The "nubby" on the nose is an L-3 IR camera that shows up on the MFD of the G-1000. It's good for dark (deer and line personnel), flying into the sun with bugs on the windshield, and is really cool for displaying heat leaks on buildings and the warm exposed tummies of the line personnel when they raise their arms with the flashlights while directing me to parking in the winter. I recommend it for the aging pilot who understands he/she doesn't see as well in the dark anymore.
