The Mars made an unscheduled landing on Lake
Winnebago, hit a submerged obstacle. Tore a whole
in the bottom. Was taking on water too. It did not
fly again during the show. However, they stopped the leak, and continued to give tours over the weekend, @

When did that happen? It flew Friday of the show.

My source said it was a bird strike that caused the
unscheduled landing. Birds also took out the F-16
demo, as well as a Snow Bird jet on Friday. First
time I have ever seen "Birds Rule", at an Air Show.
