Boeing 757-200 (N608DA)
Part of Delta's flight museum, this-retired 757-200 was repainted in a former Delta livery and joined a 747-400, a DC-9-51, a 767-200, among others.

We are all "fans" of DAL's "Classic Widget" livery so this shot caught our eye the instant we saw it in the gallery. We met about 3 weeks ago and it looked superb on the big wide screen. Clean, crisp snap. There isn't anything you could have done about that da-- light pole. (PS - We all think that it should have been placed up to the left and well ahead of the nose and another one placed toward the left rear so that the entire port side would be lit up yet the poles would not be in the way, but it's too late now.) Your snap is well positioned and the "blocking' effect of that pole is minimal. The tower in the background adds an important feature, and this shot was our "Fave Of The Day" when we met. I had it up as my c w/paper for the whole day (I always select a new one from the gallery every day). Five full stars and a TYVM for sharing it.
Thanks for the feedback!
The sleekest 757 to be born!
I agree Barrett. I really wish that this aircraft was still in service or that Delta had another 757 with the same "Widget" livery.
