Something's not right here. Bf-109 had "inverted" V-12 engines. The exhaust stack were much lower on the cowl. Is this some conversion using an Allison or Rolls Royce engine?

That's because it's not a Messerschmitt Bf-109. It's a Hispano Buchon HA-1112 - basically a Bf-109 built under license in Spain with a Rolls-Royce Merlin engine.
