de Havilland Dash 8-400 (N446QX)
Emerging from a thick blanket of ground-level fog in the Truckee Meadows between two mountain ranges (the Virginia Range in the east and the Sierra Nevada in the west), QXE's N446QX is momentarily clearly visible as it climbs out from 16R and toward the gray skies over Mt. Rose and Slide Mountain southwest of Reno.
Comments
N446QX is the second Horizon Dash 8 to visit Reno with the new Alaska livery. However, as of last week, SkyWest-operated Embraers with this new paint scheme are now arriving daily from Portland, so these super new colors are quickly becoming a daily sight at RNO.
