Tail wheel misplaced in the nose. Fortunately it only affects take off & landing.

Beagle 31k, is that suppose to be humor? If so, I don't get it.

This is actually a Beechcraft H18. The H has the nose wheel, the straight Beech 18 has a tail wheel.
Michael Meek
Actually, the nose gear was a factory option for the H 18; it could be ordered with conventional gear or tricycle gear. VOLPAR offered an STC’d nose gear mod for the Beechcraft 18’s.

Beech D-18. Volpar Conversion. Jack Nicklaus flew his D-18 for a couple of years. He and Arnold Palmer were fellow aviators. Arnold held several general aviation records.
My worst landing ever was at KPDK in front of N1AP (Jet Commander) and yes, Arnold was in the left hand seat.

Arnie had the 1st citation X, i think, 1AP.
