I got lased by this guy flying over the area too - thanks to the CG auxiliary, they caught this guy!

If they don't throw the book at this guy then it will be just like giving others a free pass to continue this absolutely outrageous and dangerous activity!! Jail time and the maximum fine please!

I could not agree more with the need for a maximum sentence on this. Make an example of this person or people will not take the law seriously. Although it may seem like tasteless self-promotion, feel free to read an article I put together about this problem. Just trying to share some information on this serious safety concern.

Sadly, it is very difficult to apprehend the increasing number of idiots who are doing this. So I hope the judge makes an example of this clown with a stiff sentence and fine. And I would hope Congress takes up the issue of licensing these green lasers, which have no use in the hands of the general public. The weaker red lasers are just fine for any general use.
