If they are in it for the long haul, it might but as with Airbus, you had to put some skin in the game and stay in there for awhile, which is where a lot of the government money was going. I feel that the Canadians will have to do the same at least for awhile. I doubt if Bombardier will have the cash to sustain itself for the time it will take for some market penetration. They killed the Lear85 for basically a lack of cash to follow thru. We are looking at something further along.
