U.S. Navy b/n 150266, c/n 2002, Boeing-Vertol HRB-1 Sea Knight, mfg. in 1962 and re-designated CH-46A in 1962.
Joe Baugher's information reveals a very complex registration history -
"..seen at Memphis NATTC Oct 21, 1975. To civil registry as N190CH, then P2-CHC, then N190CH, then C-GHFY, then N190CH, then N-GHFY, then N190CH, and now C-GHFY. Crashed Aug 20, 1983 in Shaver Lake, CA due to rotor shaft failure. 2 killed. Was seen at Fox Field in Lancaster, CA in 2009, so it must have been repaired."
The FAA registry states this is helicopter is Boeing-Vertol 107-II, s/n 2002.
