The FA database just might be correct on this one.

Lockheed became Lockheed Martin when it merged with Martin Marietta in 1995.

All good, but here in the USAF we just call them F-16... the Lockheed Martin / GD / whatever is rarely used in conjunction with it. I am in the USAF Civil Service at Shaw AFB SC, largest F-16 Wing in the AF. http://www.shaw.af.mil/AboutUs.aspx
